Nova Accounts v2.2.0

This update is a big one, we’ve focused on fixing long-standing issues, improving security for sensitive actions, and adding a few new features you’ve been asking for. Here’s what’s new:

✨ New Features & Improvements

  • We’ve added the NovaAI Sandbox agreements directly to the Agreements tab (check them out here). Now you can review them anytime without hunting through emails or help docs.

  • The dashboard design got a refresh! Based on your feedback, it’s cleaner, easier to read, and more intuitive to navigate.

  • For sensitive actions like deleting your account, downloading all your data, linking a third-party account, or turning 2FA on/off, you’ll now be asked to re-enter your password. This extra step helps keep your account secure even if someone gains temporary access to your device.

  • You can now deactivate your account instead of deleting it outright. If you just need a break, this option puts your account on hold, and you can come back anytime after 72 hours (learn more about this change here) to reactivate it.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where profile pictures weren’t showing up correctly in the UI.

  • Fixed the 2FA toggle so it can now be turned on and off without issues.

  • Fixed a bug where 2FA methods wouldn’t appear in the UI even after enabling them.

  • Fixed 2FA setup problems that were blocking some users from getting it running.

  • Fixed deeplinking issues, so visiting a link to a specific tab now works as expected, and switching tabs updates the URL correctly.

Overall, this update makes Nova Accounts more stable, secure, and easier to use. As always, thanks for sending in your feedback, it directly shaped this release.
