Forms have arrived in Nova Editor. This update brings a complete Form Builder and Editor experience, letting you create, customize, and share forms right inside the app, all built with the same clarity and polish you expect from Nova.

🧱 Form Builder & Editor (/forms/editor)

Create interactive forms with a modern, 3-panel layout:

• Left sidebar for field selection, center canvas for building, and right panel for settings.

• Add any of 9 field types: text, email, number, textarea, dropdown, checkboxes, radio buttons, date, file upload.

• Edit field properties directly: label, name, placeholder, options, and required/optional settings.

• Live preview as you build, with drag handles ready for future drag-and-drop reordering.

• Auto-generated unique form IDs shown in the header.

• Real-time validation and error handling for a smoother experience.

⚙️ Form Settings Tab

Fine-tune every part of your form with easy configuration options:
Presentation:

• Show or hide the progress bar

• Show or hide question numbers

• Shuffle question order

Submissions:

• Require Nova ID login

• Allow multiple submissions per user

• Collect email addresses

After Submission:

• Custom confirmation message

• Optional redirect URL

• Fully interactive live preview

• Displays progress bar and question numbers if enabled

• Shows email field if “collect email” is turned on

• Every element works as it will in the final form

📋 Form Responses Tab

View all submissions in one clean table:

• Displays submission timestamp and all field data as columns

• Refresh button to reload submissions in real time

• Response count displayed in the tab header

🌍 Public Form Submission Page (/forms/:formId)

Share your form with the world through a unique URL.

• Publicly accessible submission page with full field validation

• Enforces login if “Require Nova ID” is enabled

• Displays custom confirmation message or redirects to a custom URL after submission

• Collects optional email addresses if enabled

• Tracks submission metadata (timestamp, user agent, user ID if logged in)

• Progress bar and question numbers appear based on form settings

🧭 How It Works

1. Build your form in the editor.

2. Save it with your settings.

3. Get your unique URL: /forms/{formId}.

4. Share it with anyone.

5. Users fill out and submit your form.

6. Submissions are validated and saved automatically.

7. Respondents see a confirmation message or redirect.

8. You view and manage all responses in the Responses tab.

Nova Editor 25U11.1 introduces the first step toward multi-form creation in Nova Suite, easy to build, simple to share, and beautiful by design.
